The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says a combine was destroyed by fire yesterday afternoon west of Latimer.
Sheriff Aaron Dodd tells RadioOnTheGo News the fire was reported shortly after 1 p.m. in the 300 block of Highway 3, about four miles west of town. The Latimer and Coulter fire departments responded and extinguished the flames soon after arriving on scene.
Franklin General Ambulance and West Franklin EMS also assisted. No injuries were reported. The combine was considered a total loss.
