Community Calender




 The Radio on the Go Community Calendar is a free service for all non-profit groups, organizations, churches, and schools.  The Community Calendar can be heard Monday-Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m. on 104.9 KLMJ-FM and Monday-Friday mornings at 10:30 a.m. on 98.9 KQCR-FM.  If you would like to post an event on the Community Calendar, email us by clicking here; be sure to put in the subject line "Community Calendar".  You can also fax it to (641)456-5655, mail it to Radio on the Go; P.O. The Belmond-Klemme Community School will be hosting an Electronics Recycling Day Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the school’s bus barn in Belmond.

 

Franklin County Public Health will be holding a foot clinic Wednesday 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Franklin Prairie Apartments in Hampton.  To schedule an appointment, call 456-58-20.

 

The Hardin County Community Services, NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Hardin County, and Faith in Action are sponsoring the 14th Annual Mental Health Awareness Seminar Wednesday 10:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Iowa Falls.  For reservation, call 641-939-81-67.

 

The Hampton Rotary Club will meet Wednesday at noon at Godfather’s Pizza in Hampton.

 

The Hampton Compost and Brush Site will be open weather permitting Wednesday 2:00 to 6:30 p.m.

 

The Iowa Falls Farmers Market will be open Wednesday 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the northeast corner of Estes Park in Iowa Falls.

 

The United Reformed Church in Wellsburg will be serving a Strawberry shortcake Supper Wednesday 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the church located at 608 South Adams in Wellsburg. 

 

Alcoholics Anonymous will meet Wednesday 7:00 p.m. at the Fireside in Iowa Falls.

 

West Side Story part of the 2012-2013 Performing Arts and Leadership Series will take the stage Wednesday 7:30 p.m. at the North Iowa Community Auditorium on the North Iowa Area Community College Campus in Mason City.

The Hampton Senior Center will be holding BINGO Thursday 1:00 p.m. for area seniors at the Senior Center in Hampton.

 

The Parkersburg Farmers Market will be open Thursday 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. in downtown Parkersburg.

 

The Dumont Community Library will be holding Adult Movie Day featuring “The Bucket List” Thursday 4:00 p.m. at the library in Dumont.

 

The Eldora Farmers Market will be open Thursday 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. one block west of the courthouse in Eldora.

 

The Grundy Center Farmers Market will be open Thursday 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Seventh Street between the Grundy County Courthouse and Kling Memorial Library.

Franklin County Public Health will be holding walk-in blood pressure clinics Friday 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Ackley State Bank in Geneva and at the Franklin County Public Health Office in Hampton.

 

The Hampton Compost and Brush Site will be open weather permitting Friday 2:00 to 6:30 p.m.

The Hampton American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars are looking for volunteers to help put up the avenue of flags for Memorial Day Friday 5:00 p.m. at the Hampton Cemetery.
