Grundy Center senior Clay Saak has announced he’s continuing his academic and football career at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Saak, a running back and linebacker, missed his senior season due to a knee injury. A member of the AP-GC wrestling team, he was able to return near the end of the season and compete in the district tournament. He has also participated in track & field.
During his junior football season, he was the third leading rusher and was a dual-threat as a pass catcher. Defensively, he was the third leading tackler with 60.
Case Western Reserve is a member of the University Athletic Association in NCAA Division III.
