Aplington-Parkersburg junior Caleb Campbell shot a 75 and qualified individually for the Class 2A Boys State Golf Tournament at Tuesday’s district meet at Fox Ridge Golf Course.
“I was really hitting it well, getting off the tee really well,” Campbell says. “Putting hurt me, that caused me a few strokes towards the middle of my round. But you know, it’s what happens and I can recover from that and I know that. It’s always a dream to play the state tournament in any sport and I’m just happy I can do it in my favorite sport.”
Interview with Campbell:
