David Koop has been named the next head coach of the AGWSR girls basketball program.
A 2022 AGWSR graduate, Koop has two years of experience as a middle school boys basketball coach at the district. He was a multi-sport athlete at AGWSR while in high school. He’s the son of AGWSR Head Football Coach James Koop.
The hiring comes after Mike Finger announced his resignation from the position after the end of last season.
