Franklin Supervisors decide on compensation for the elected officials

Yesterday, the Franklin County Board of Supervisors discussed compensation for the county’s elected officials for fiscal year 2026.

The Franklin supervisors then approved increases for the elected officials.  They include:

-The county attorney, recorder, and sheriff will each receive pay increases of 4-point-5 percent

-The treasurer will receive a pay increase of 5 percent

-The county auditor will receive a pay increase of 5-point-5 percent

The Franklin County Board of Supervisors decided against a pay raise for each of their positions, but the board chairman will receive a stipend of 15-hundred dollars.
