The Meservey City Council this week received insurance renewal information, with an increase in cost this year at 18 percent. No action was taken by the council.
In other business, the Meservey council was informed that the new well project in the city has been put out for bid.
And the Meservey City Council decided to apply for a Cerro Gordo County Community Foundation Grant. If approved, the funds would be used to replace swing sets at both parks in town.
