The Sports Beat programs from RadioOnTheGo Sports will resume for the spring and summer seasons Saturday. Presented on 104.9 KLMJ by Mort’s Water Company and on 99 The Wave by Brother’s Market, the programs will be extended to 90 minutes for the first time.
Half of the interviews will serve as continuation of the Coaches Corner programs, featuring interviews with local in-season coaches. The other half will feature student-athletes, area alumni in college programs, and more, with a focus on local communities.
This week’s programs will feature wrestling coaches recapping their seasons, Hampton-Dumont-CAL senior Charlee Morton on signing with the Iowa State University Women’s Track & Field program, Dike-New Hartford alum Payton Petersen on her freshman season with Louisville Volleyball, and others.
The programs will air each Saturday at 8:30 a.m. on 104.9 KLMJ and 10:00 a.m. on 99 The Wave. On-demand programs will be available at radioonthego.com and many podcast platforms.
