Severe thunderstorms rolled across Iowa Friday.
There were some reports of hail, but there were dozens of reports of strong winds.
One of the highest wind speeds recorded was in Cedar Rapids at 79 miles per hour, while a gust to 78 miles per hour was recorded at Washington, and to 77 miles per hour at a couple of locations in southeast Iowa.
A wind gust to 71 miles per hour was recorded at Grundy Center, 64 miles per hour in Webster City, and to 58 miles per hour in Hampton.
