Hampton Public Works Director Doug Tarr tells RadioOnTheGo News that any business that plans on going door-to-door to offer services, like roof replacements, must first obtain a peddler’s license from city hall.
A one-day license is $50, a 30-day license is $150.
Hampton City Hall is open weekdays from 9am-5pm.
