The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows boys track and field team will be at the Hampton-Dumont-CAL Invite on Monday. It will be the Cowboys’ first meet in a week after last competing at Clear Lake on Tuesday, April 15. They had six top finishes at the meet, including Charlie Campbell in 100m (5th), Christopher Greenfield in 1600m (5th), Distance Medley Relay (5th), 4x100m (5th), 4x200m (5th) and the shuttle hurdle (5th). The meet will begin at 4:30 p.m.
The girls and boys golf teams will have separate dual meets against Southeast Valley. Top rounds on the team are by Blaire Askelsen with a low of 56 for the girls and Caleb Seaba with a low of 47 for the boys. The girls will be at Gowrie Municipal golf course and the boys will host at Oak Ridge golf course. Tee off will be at 4:00 p.m. for both meets.
