The Franklin County Board of Supervisors today approved a draft of the Community Health Agreement with Franklin General Hospital and the Franklin County Board of Health.
The Franklin supervisors approved benefits to employees who transition from Franklin County to Franklin General Hospital, pending the final approval of the Community Health Agreement.
All qualified employees would be front loaded up to 20-days of paid time off at FGH and after 75 calendar days of employment with FGH. In addition, all qualified employees would be paid out any remaining balances of sick leave and vacation leave from Franklin County.
In other business, the Franklin County Board of Supervisors directed Facilities Director Ryan Peterson to begin working on the first steps of developing a Request for Proposal, and sending out for bids for upgrading the electrical system at the courthouse.
