Last week the Greene City Council approved the 2025-26 fiscal year budget.
The Greene council also approved a $150 bonus for each swimming lesson session for each lifeguard that obtains their WSI Certification with a 2-year commitment.
The Greene Pool Board will be paying the training cost.
This would make the swimming lessons Red Cross Certified.
