The West Fork girls and boys golf teams both took part in the Dike-New Hartford Invite at Fox Ridge Golf Course in Cedar Falls on Monday. The Warhawk girls finished sixth in the team race with a 429, led by Katelyn Witte with a round of 105 (T-13th). The boys finished fourth in the team race with a 349, led by top four rounds for Jordan Demaray with a 84 (3rd) and Nolan Shreckengost with a 85 (T-4th). Both teams have a quick turnaround playing Tuesday, as they host separate triangulars against Newman Catholic and Saint Ansgar. The girls will play at Linn Grove Country Club in Rockwell. The boys will play at Ridge Stone Golf Club in Sheffield. Tee off for both meets is at 4:15 p.m.
The boys track and field team will be at Bronco Relays at Belmond-Klemme on Tuesday. The Warhawks finished fifth at Iowa Falls-Alden last time out on April 15. Top performances included Dax Suntken in discus (2nd), Xavier Haller in long jump (3rd) and the sprint medley relay (3rd). The meet begins at 4:30 p.m.
The girls track and field team will be at Cardinal Relays at Garner-Hayfield-Ventura on Tuesday. It will be the Warhawks first meet since a runner-up finish at Cowgirl Relays on April 15. Champions included Evie Hitzhusen in 400m hurdles (1st), JoAnna Wallace in long jump (1st), Keara Wood in high jump (1st) and the 4×400 (1st). The meet begins at 4:30 p.m.
