Monday night the Meservey City Council held a special meeting and approved an ordinance concerning RAGBRAI Vendors, with changed fees for local non-profits and Meservey residents to no cost.
Out-of-town non-profits will be charged $150, with a late fee effective June 7th. The clean-up deposit will be $200.
In other business, the Meservey council appointed Megan Peterson as chair of the RAGBRAI Executive Committee.
Peterson will get another meeting set up to get committees assigned.
The bicycle riders taking part in RAGBRAI will pass through Meservey on July 23rd.
