Last week the Ackley City Council held a special meeting and approved the city’s next fiscal year budget, which will begin on July 1st.
In other business, the Ackley council discussed having a 28-E Agreement with the Prairie Bridges Board of Directors concerning the 101-acre park and campground.
The city and board have been working on a 28-E Agreement for about 3-years.
Members of the Ackley City Council discussed options to get the agreement across the finish line, and decided to have the city clerk draft a letter requiring a joint meeting to be held May 7th beginning at 6pm at the council chambers.
