The Grundy County Board of Supervisors this week considered the county compensation board’s recommendations on the salaries of the elected county officials for the next fiscal year.
The Grundy supervisors did approve pay increases, but at a lower rate than what was recommended. The highest paid position in Grundy County will be that of the sheriff at $131,578.40.
The Grundy County Board of Supervisors then approved the fiscal year 2026 budget.
