Thursday night the Belmond-Klemme School Board approved the fiscal year 2026 budget.
The B-K board approved the negotiated contract for the Master Agreement with the Belmond-Klemme Education Association.
The new contract increases base wages by $2,150, increases each teacher’s salary by $2,150, and increases coach base pay by $30.
The salary increase for this latest agreement is 3-point-51 percent, while the total package increase is 3-point-12 percent.
The new contract runs through June 30th, 2027, with a mutual agreement to renegotiate salaries for the 2026-27 contract year.
