A portion of a 2017 search warrant involved in the Jodi Huisentruit case was released Monday.
Huistentruit was kidnapped outside her Mason City apartment on her way to work at KIMT-TV in June of 1995, and no arrests have been made in her disappearance.
The search warrant shows the GPS tracking of vehicles owned by John Vancise, who was deemed as a person of interest in the Huistentruit case.
The warrant applied to a Honda Civic and GMC pick-up truck. The tracking shows a route from March 2nd, 2017 beginning in Baxter, Iowa and then going through Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and ending in Phoenix.
Private Investigator Steve Ridge went to court in an attempt to unseal the entire search warrant, but that was denied by Judge James Drew. Ridge says we are nearing a point where impaneling a new grand jury would be wise.
Huisentruit was declared legally deceased in 2001, while Vansice died this past December in Arizona.
