Thursday the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department, in conjunction with the Mason City and Clear Lake Police Departments, conducted a joint project focused on Sex Offender Registry Compliance.
As of Thursday, there were 100 registered sex offenders in Cerro Gordo County.
This project was conducted to ensure these offenders were in compliance as required under state law.
