The All-Iowa Rugby Tournament provided a great weekend of competition for 18 teams between Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois in Iowa Falls on Saturday and Sunday.
The men’s and women’s division cup championships were each won by Palmer College Rugby Football Club from Davenport. The men’s runner-up was the Alliance Selects. The women’s runner-up was the Des Moines Rugby Club.
Bremer County won the plate division championship over Green Bay.
The Iowa Falls Rugby Club went 1-2 with a win over the Riverbarbs from Mason City (39-12) but then fell to Metropolis (48-10) and Bremer County (44-0) to conclude the tournament.
