Four Iowa Falls-Alden spring sports teams competed Monday.
The girls track & field team was third with 106.5 points at their home Cadet Girls Relays. Medalists:
Isabelle Janssen – 1st in 100 hurdles
Shuttle hurdle relay – 1st
Alivia Tupper – 1st in discus
Isabelle Janssen – 2nd in 100
Alivia Tupper – 2nd in shout put
Addison Vanderloop – 3rd in 400
Caitlyn Archer – 3rd in 400 hurdles
Brooklyn Gehling – 3rd in long jump
Caitlyn Archer – 3rd in high jump
The boys tennis team defeated Webster City 9-0 at home. All matches were two-set sweeps.
The boys soccer team lost 6-0 at Clear Lake. They gave up four goals in the first half and two in the second.
The girls soccer team won 3-0 at Clear Lake. Kyli Koenigsfeld, Grace Hartford and Brenna Krukow each scored.
In Tuesday action, the golf teams will compete in triangulars against Algona and Webster City. The girls will be at home at Meadow Hills Golf Course at 3:30. The boys will be at Links Public Golf Course in Webster City at 4:30.
