Aplington-Parkersburg alum and Northwest Missouri State rising senior Kasidy Mohwinkle will represent USA D-2 Volleyball on a tour of Brazil this month. She’ll will be joined by junior teammate Ella Caffery and Head Coach Amy Woerth.
The USA D-2 Volleyball Teams feature invited NCAA Division II women’s players from across the country. These teams are comprised of players recognized nationally, regionally and by their conferences.
Mohwinkle ranked third on the team with 260 kills (2.43 kills/set). Mohwinkle had 13 double-figure kill efforts this season, with a season high 14.
The tour will run from May 12 through May 21. Each team will play matches in Sao Paulo and conduct youth clinics alongside matches in Rio De Janeiro. They’ll experience educational, cultural, and social aspects of Brazilian life through city, school and sports club visits.
