The Clarksville City Council held a special meeting Wednesday and went into a closed session to evaluate the professional competency of an individual.
In open session, the Clarksville City Council voted 5-0 to terminate city employee Doug Harre.
Harre had been working in the position of full-time maintenance for Clarksville.
