A Silvis, Illinois man this week entered a written not guilty plea to three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor-cause to engage in act in Hardin County District Court.
The state is alleging that Izaya Vanzuiden solicited explicit photos from a female minor over the period of several months in late 2024, with the minor being from Hardin County.
Vanzuiden is facing similar charges in a case from Story County.
For the Hardin County case, he waived his right to a speedy trial, with his jury trial set to begin July 8th at 9am in Eldora.
If convicted on the Hardin County charges, Vanzuiden could be sentenced for up to 75-years in prison.
