Outdoor warning sirens to be tested in Franklin County

On the 2nd Monday of each month, the outdoor warning sirens will be activated by the Franklin County Emergency Communications Center for about 1-3 minutes at 12pm.

In the event of a severe weather watch or warning for Franklin County, the test will be suspended and will resume the next month.

Testing is suspended during the winter months when ice and subzero temperatures could damage the sirens.

The next test of the outdoor warning sirens in Franklin County will be Monday at 12pm.
