Clarksville Spring Sports Update 5-10-25

The Clarksville track and field teams competed in the 2025 Iowa Star Conference meet hosted by Baxter on Thursday. In the girls team race, BCLUW was the champion and Clarksville placed sixth. On the boys side, Baxter was the champion and Clarksville was ninth.

Up next both teams will be at the Class 1A state qualifying meet at Northwood-Kensett on Thursday, May 15.

The golf teams hosted their final home dual meet of the season against North Tama on Friday. The Redhawks won the girls meet 208-256 over the Indians. The Redhawks won the boys meet by two strokes 189-191 over the Indians. Clarksville’s Gavin Jacobs was the medalist with a 45 and Camden Behrends was the co-runner-up with a 46. 

The girls return to the course on Monday for the Iowa Star Conference meet hosted by Tripoli. The boys will be back in action on Tuesday at Dunkerton meet in Waterloo.
