The IGHSAU has announced playoff soccer brackets for Class 1A.
In 1A Region 8, Hampton-Dumont-CAL will play a first round game at Webster City. The winner will advance to take on top-seeded #8 (1A) Dike-New Hartford. Aplington-Parkersburg will host Clear Lake in the same half of the bracket, creating a path for a potential regional semifinal between the Falcons and Wolverines.
The playoffs will begin Monday, May 19. Brackets for the other classes are expected to be announced next week.
