This past Thursday the Belmond-Klemme School Board held a special meeting and approved the negotiated contract with the Belmond-Klemme Educational Services Association.
The new contract increases the base pay by 60-cents per hour for each of the next two years.
The contract term extends through June 30th, 2027. For 2025-26, the salary increase will be 3-point-87 percent, for a total approximate cost of 53-thousand dollars.
The B-K board issued a Memorandum of Employment Relationship for those in maintenance, food service, administrative assistants, and para-educators, and renewed transportation contracts with 5 people.
