The Central Rivers Area Education Agency Board of Directors recently met and approved a Memorandum of Understanding between the AEA’s in the state to be able to share personnel as needed in service to the schools.
Because all AEA’s are experiencing shortages in staff, especially in key areas, the agencies say that they must have the ability to cross AEA lines in order to access staff from each other.
The Central Rivers AEA board also approved to purchase up to four vans to replace the aging delivery vehicles in their fleet. The agency has not purchased vans since 2019.
The Central Rivers Area Education Agency is based in Cedar Falls and covers a majority of the school districts in the local area.
