
The WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx will make their OnTheGoMedia debut on Friday on 99 The Wave KQCR, as they visit the Dallas Wings for their season opener.
The Lynx have been in existence since joining the association as an expansion team in 1999. They’ve won four WNBA titles (2011, 2013, 2015, and 2017), seven conference titles and have qualified for the playoffs in 15 of the 26 years of their history.
The Lynx last season went 30-10, won the commissioners cup and reached the WNBA Finals, falling to the New York Liberty in five games. Naphessa Collier returns as the teams leading scorer with 20 points per game and the leading rebounder with 9.7 boards per game. Iowa State Alumna Bridget Carelton is also a returning starter, after averaging 9.6 points per game and shooting a team best 44.4 percent from three.
Pregame coverage on Friday begins at 6:15 p.m. followed by the tip off at 6:30 p.m. in Dallas.
