The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking input regarding the proposed bridge replacement on Iowa 3 over Beeds Creek in Franklin County.
Proposed improvements include:
- Removing and replacing the existing bridge
- Reconstruct approach pavement
- Update guardrail to current standards
Through traffic will be maintained via an off-site detour utilizing County Roads S56 and C25, and U.S. 65 during construction. Construction is expected to start in the spring of 2027 and end in the fall of 2027.
