Wednesday night the Ackley City Council discussed deteriorating concrete work at the Splash Pad.
Ackley Public Works Director Kendall Meyer says that he has been in contact with a couple of contractors to try to find a way to resolve the problem.
Currently, the Splash Pad cannot be used.
Ackley City Councilmember Judy Crawford suggested legal action against AAA Construction.
There have been many conference calls between the city engineer, AAA Construction, the Nationwide Bonding Company, and the city clerk, and there are still unsolved issues.
The city clerk will inquire about the situation to the city attorney.
