The Sports Beat programs from RadioOnTheGo Sports air each on Saturday, presented on 104.9 KLMJ by Mort’s Water Company and on 99 The Wave by Brother’s Market.
This week’s program featured interviews with numerous track & field state qualifiers and their coaches. Local student-athletes competed at the state qualifying meets at Grundy Center, Garner Hayfield Ventura, Decorah, Madrid and Northwood-Kensett Thursday. Girls state tennis qualifiers from Aplington-Parkersburg and Dike-New Hartford were featured, along with Hampton-Dumont-CAL soccer coaches after their games against Garner Hayfield Ventura on Monday.
