Local boys golf teams and individuals will compete at Monday’s district tournaments to try to advance to the state tournament.
Aplington-Parkersburg will compete as a team at the 2A district at Lake Mills at 10:00 a.m.
Grundy Center will compete as a team at the 2A district at South Hills Golf Course in Waterloo at 9:00 a.m. Individually, Lewis Textor and Carson Costello, Dike-New Hartford of Dike-New Hartford will compete.
West Fork will compete at the 1A district at Newman Catholic, which will also feature Nolan Reser of North Butler. It’ll start at 10:00 a.m.
The top three teams at each district will advance to the state tournament. Individuals who advance to the state tournament will be the top two placewinners, plus ties, from among the non-qualifying teams.
