The Sports Beat programs from RadioOnTheGo Sports will air on Saturday, presented on 104.9 KLMJ by Mort’s Water Company and on 99 The Wave by Brother’s Market.
The programs will feature interviews with numerous state track & field state medalists from Thursday and Friday. Local state qualifying boys golfers will be featured, including those from Aplington-Parkersburg and Grundy Center, and West Fork coach Chris Noss. Student-athletes from the Dike-New Hartford girls and Wright County boys will discuss their first round playoff wins. Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Activities Director Jeff Meyer will discuss his upcoming retirement. The show on both stations will end with UNI Director of Athletics Megan Franklin.
The programs air each Saturday at 8:30 a.m. on 104.9 KLMJ and 10:00 a.m. on 99 The Wave. On-demand programs are available at radioonthego.com and many podcast platforms.
