The Sports Beat programs from RadioOnTheGo Sports air each Saturday, presented on 104.9 KLMJ by Mort’s Water Company and on 99 The Wave by Brother’s Market.
This week’s programs featured interviews with numerous state track & field state medalists from Thursday and Friday. Local state qualifying boys golfers were featured, including those from Aplington-Parkersburg and Grundy Center, and West Fork coach Chris Noss. Student-athletes from the Dike-New Hartford girls and Wright County boys discussed their first round playoff wins. Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Activities Director Jeff Meyer discussed his upcoming retirement. The show on both stations ended with UNI Director of Athletics Megan Franklin.
