The IGHSAU Golf State Championships will begin Thursday with the first 18 of 36 holes.
Grundy Center will compete as a team in the 2A tournament at Cedar Pointe Golf Course in Boone. The Spartans placed second at the state qualifying meet at South Hardin to advance. They’ll look to bounce back from last year’s 10th place performance at the state meet.
Individually, South Hardin senior Emma Topp will compete. She placed fifth at the state qualifying meet to advance.
DNH/AP will be represented at the 3A meet at Saddleback Ridge Golf Course in Solon. Seeri Smith placed second and Keely Kauten placed sixth at the state qualifying meet to secure their spots.
Thursday’s action will start at 9:00 a.m., followed by Friday’s tee times at 8:30 a.m.
