Elisa Van Wert has been hired as the new executive director of the Greater Franklin County Chamber of Commerce.
She begins her new job today.
Van Wert will take over for Jim Davies, who has been serving as interim director, after former director Bill Hittle resigned.
Davies will continue to work with the chamber of commerce to focus on managing the Main Street Hampton program preparing for the Main Street America accreditation visit in August.
