The Rowan City Council Monday evening discussed a water issue at the Rowan Events Center building.
When the water was turned on at the Events Center for Memorial Day, a pipe in the women’s bathroom was broken and spraying, flooding the bathroom and hallway.
The water was shut off and the pipe was capped so the water could be turned on.
The bathroom has not been used in a long time and is now unusable.
In addition, the Iowa River Players had to be called that day, as they had left the haunted house items in the way in the basement. They came and cleaned it up.
