The Thornton City Council Monday night received an update on the Main Street property, as the city has ownership of the vacant buildings on the north side of the street.
There will be barricades on the sidewalk from the bank to the last building to prevent any issues.
The city will also be working on cleaning the buildings out, as well as researching the demolition of said buildings.
In other business, the Thornton City Council approved the reconfiguration and installation of two anhydrous ammonia tanks to be added at FS AgVantage.
