Head Coach Sadie Winfrey on how this year’s team has matured in working through tough spots.
“Just keeping their head up. Libby does a great job of getting us out of some sticky situations and keeping her team pumped up. Everyone was able to just get out of those slumps when they made an error. They got back up and did what they needed to do. We are lucky to get out of those,” says Winfrey. “In the past, it’s something we’ve always struggled with, is getting out of those slumps. Super proud of them that they are able to do that.”
