Passenger numbers for the current calendar year continue to be up at the Mason City Municipal Airport when compared to 2024.
Passengers boarding United Express flights were up 109 percent in January compared to January of 2024, and up 92 percent in March compared to the same time period last year.
Passengers disembarking at Mason City were up 64 percent in January, and up 74 percent in March.
Through the end of May, 3,371 passengers boarded flights in Mason City, while 3,258 disembarked.
