The Hampton-Dumont-CAL summer sports teams were both shut out at Osage in non-conference action Tuesday. The softball team fell 6-0 and the baseball team lost 10-0 in six innings.
It’ll be a quick turnaround for the softball team (3-5), which will play at Webster City Wednesday at 7:30. The Lynx (1-5) have lost four straight, including 14-6 to Algona Monday. Webster City has won 11 straight in the series, dating to 2018.
The baseball team (3-11) will return to action Thursday by hosting North Butler.
