The Aplington-Parkersburg School Board approved several athletic-related staffing changes at its special meeting Tuesday.
Carter Hoff was named the interim high school activities director, and Tony Jones was named the interim junior high activities director.
Two head coaching resignations were accepted. Perry Bernard has stepped down as the head boys soccer coach. Gary Flanigan stepped down as the head boys golf coach.
Among other staffing updates, the board accepted the resignation of Tessa Heidemann as an assistant girls soccer coach. They approved a contract for Joel Reints as the head boys and girls wrestling coach and as an assistant football coach, positions he’s previously held.
