
The Eldora City Council Tuesday night approved a consulting contract with Rick Roe of Clive to help recommend future plans for the city fire and EMS departments, for example, do they need two buildings, or can they use just one.
The contract is not to exceed 10-thousand dollars.
In other business, the Eldora council approved the hiring of the assistant swimming pool manager, the seasonal pool employees, and for the summer office interns, and set their wages.
And the Eldora City Council approved an ordinance amendment concerning housing incentives and restrictive covenants.
A tax abatement schedule will be used for those who construct homes over 12-hundred square feet.
