The Meservey City Council this week approved adjusting the water rates to help prove the ability of the city to pay for a State Revolving Fund loan.
The Meservey council approved increasing the monthly garbage collection rate from $18 to $20 a month due to increased fees from the service provider.
And the Meservey City Council was informed that up to 8 vendors plan on being in the city when RAGRAI passes through town in July, with a couple more expected to turn in applications.
