Thursday evening, the Dumont City Council approved on the third and final reading an ordinance amendment that will increase the water/sewer rates, as well as adding an additional $1.50 to the tower maintenance fee.
The Dumont council approved a different ordinance amendment on the third and final reading to increase the solid waste collection fee by increasing each garbage container by $3.
The Dumont City Council also discussed the T-16 repaving project 28-E Agreement/payment plan.
Construction work on T-16 is scheduled to begin in the near future.
