Sheffield City Council declines to offer swimming lessons

This week, the Sheffield City Council decided not to offer swim lessons at the pool, partly because the pool has already had four lifeguards quit since the facility opened.

In other business, the Sheffield council approved repairs to the west side outdoor warning siren for about 6-thousand dollars.

And the council approved on all three readings an ordinance amendment concerning the use of fireworks in Sheffield.
