The Wright County Engineer’s Office says a bridge will be replaced along Taylor Avenue, southeast of Belmond.
This project includes removing the existing bridge and replacing it with an 80 foot concrete slab bridge. Weather permitting, the bridge project is expected to be completed around the middle of September.
There will not be a detour, as the bridge is on a granular route. The intersection of Highway 69 and Taylor Avenue will have staggered road closed signs, as well as the intersection of Belmond Road and Taylor Avenue to allow for citizens to get to their homes.
